Triston S. Glynos, PT, MSPT, OCS

Owner/Director/Physical Therapist

Triston graduated from the accelerated physical therapy program at Boston University's Sargent College with a Bachelor of Science in Health Studies in 1999 and Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2001. After graduation, he obtained his physical therapy licensure in New Jersey and began working as an outpatient physical therapist.

During his career, Triston focused primarily on outpatient orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, yet broadened his expertise by working in the acute and home-care settings. He founded Joint Motion, LLC, in 2006 and opened his doors to the public in February 2007. In 2008, Triston earned his board certification as a Specialist in Orthopedics from the state of NJ and the American Physical Therapy Association.

With less than 2% of the state's physical therapists obtaining this certification, Triston joins an elite group of clinicians distinguished by their exceptional knowledge and experience treating patients with orthopedic conditions. Obtaining this additional certification demonstrates Triston's commitment to helping his patients best resolve their physical limitations using the most current medical information and techniques available.

In his spacious Scotch Plains practice, Triston uses advanced manual therapeutic techniques, a scientifically-based therapeutic exercise approach, and his caring personality to provide treatments for most musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. He is a long-time member of the American Physical Therapy Association and also contributes to the local community by providing informative lectures on numerous topics, such as Fall Prevention, Sports Injury Prevention, Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis treatment, and Low Back Pain.

Triston is native to the area being born in North Plainfield, and raised in Berkeley Heights. He lives locally with his wife, Tara, and son, Vincent.
