In 2016, after 15 years in clinical practice, Dr. Glynos returned to school and completed his Doctoral education at the EIM Institute for Health Professions, where he received an award for outstanding student contributions.

Triston has focused his career primarily on outpatient orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, yet broadened his expertise by working in the acute and home-care settings. He founded Joint Motion, LLC, in 2006 and opened his doors to the public in February 2007. In 2008, Triston earned his board certification as a Specialist in Orthopedics from the state of NJ and the American Physical Therapy Association.

With less than 2% of the state’s physical therapists obtaining this certification, Triston joins an elite group of clinicians distinguished by their exceptional knowledge and experience treating patients with orthopedic conditions. Obtaining this additional certification demonstrates Triston’s commitment to helping his patients best resolve their physical limitations using the most current medical information and techniques available. Triston is a former high school wrestler, football player and collegiate Rugby player and currently coaches at the youth level with the Watchung Hills Wrestling Association. His knowledge, passion and expertise with these athletes allow him to better individualize his rehabilitation programs and provide injured athletes a better preparedness for return to the rigors of these physical sports.

In his spacious Scotch Plains practice, Triston uses advanced manual therapeutic techniques, a scientifically based therapeutic exercise approach, and his caring personality to provide treatments for most musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. He is a long-time member of the American Physical Therapy Association and also contributes to the local community by providing informative lectures on numerous topics, such as Fall Prevention, Sports Injury Prevention, Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis treatment, and Low Back Pain. Triston is native to the area being born in North Plainfield and raised in Berkeley Heights. He lives locally with his wife, Tara, and their three children.
